That Driving Beat started in November 2008 in the 'cosy' surroundings of Milo's upstairs room.

Since then, we've moved onto bigger and better things, now firmly established in our new home at The Wardrobe the last Friday of ever month.

Down in the basement of The Wardrobe, expect to be transformed into soulful hip teens dancing the night away to the best in 60's and 70's Northern soul, Motown, Funk, 60's RnB and Latin soul brought to you by That Driving Beat's resident reprobates Eddie Wainwright (VFM), Rich Buckley (Absolute Beginners & Soulsville) and Azza (Absolute Beginners)

The sunken wooden dance floor is tremendously easy on the legs so you can dance all night, massive bar so you can indulge in a beverage or 10.....and the sound system will just blow you away. All in all, an outstanding venue with splendid music what better way to spend an evening!
